Coach Licensing
CEDF supports riders and coaches in the pursuit of becoming certified and licensed coaches. CEDF offers support navigating the administration requirements, Practice Coaching Evaluation Days, and Coaching Evaluation Dates to allow for coaches to become licensed.
Rider Level Certifications
CEDF supports coaching programs and their riders by offering the online and in-person Rider Level Theory Training and Rider Level Testing. This is a great option for riders in coaching programs to become educated in the stable management components of what is required for each Rider Level. Through CEDF, coaches may send their riders for Rider Level testing or arrange for the testing to be held at their stable.

*COACHES*
You must be a Licensed Coach to coach at EC sanctioned shows in 2025.
Achieve License Status by August 2024 with CEDF

If you are currently an EC Registered Coach and have been coaching for 20 years or more, you may apply for an exemption to become an EC Licensed Coach.

If you have not been coaching for 20 years or more, to become a Licensed Coach, you must first become a Certified Competition Coach.
